About Me

Personal Mission Statement

I was born in Edmonton, AB and lived a short distance away in Spruce Grove, AB until my early adult years.

I graduated high school from the Spruce Grove Composite High School in 2001. After graduation I entered into the labour field working construction and at a casket production factory. I did not enroll in post-secondary education until 2005.

In 2005 I completed a certificate in Business Administration. I then continued to work in casket construction until 2008 when I decided to pursue a dream of living and working at a ski resort. I enrolled in the Ski Resort Management Program at Selkirk College and completed a diploma in 2010. This program evolved in to many ski are positions and work experiences that I loved, especially working with ski and snowboard students. Thus, in 2012 I enrolled in the post diploma B.Mgt/B.Ed with a CTS focus. It is my hopes that after completion of my degrees I will be able to find a stable career and settle down with my family.

I come from a large family; I have four wonderful sisters, and two loving parents. I am an Uncle 28 times over and a father of two myself. I was married to my wonderful wife Brittany in 2008 and have been a father since 2012.

I love the outdoors and the mountains and hope to include such in my professional education career.

It is my mission to acquire a valuable and respected education that will lead to a valuable and respected career. I will dedicate myself in school and use my developed, and developing, skills to achieve my educational goals.

I will obtain and maintain a respected position that allows me to teach and train others and better them as people. I will enjoy my work and feel motivated by it.

I will live in a country, city and community that I value and that value me. I will be an honest, respectful citizen and contribution to my community.

I will have a family, support my family, and spent honest time with my family. I will love my family and respect my wife. I will be respectful and respected father to my children. I will raise my children in a way that is honest, virtuous and Christian.

I will spend time outdoors in nature appreciating my world. I will be healthy, I will be grateful, I will exercise, and I will snowboard.

Finally, I will love and be loved.

Values: humor, hard work, cleanliness, organization, trust, religion

Where I'm From: An Autobiographical Writing

I come from mothers and fathers, sisters and no brothers.
Education and manners. Spelling and grammar.
Playful. Giving. Hard working and easygoing.
A nuisance, a bore, tiresome and outnumbered.
Arguments and fights... Eternal friendship. Gratitude.

I come from marriage and family. Wife and son.
Husband and father. A friend. A teacher.
Wife and mother. Supportive, loving, and caring.
Sleepless nights, whiny weekends. Dependent and strong willed.
Unconditional love. Selfless. Bound. Family.

I come from Edmonton. Nelson. Alberta. British Columbia.
Tranquil river valleys, misty wet mountains, pollutant laden, and purely fresh air.
Crispy cold winters, and disgusting hot summers.
Traffic backed streets, unique avenues, and creative shop windows.
A love and a hate. A hate and a love.

I come from the great outdoors.
Deep powder and chairlifts. Corduroy and jib jams.
Weaving through mountain trails. Conquering rocky peaks.
Tromping through birch forests and perching at riversides.
Sandy beaches, crystal clear lakes and beautiful giant sloughs.

I come from an indefinite educational pursuit.
Big city, college certificate.
Small town, college diploma.
Medium city, for a double degree.
Bloated tuition, overpriced textbooks. But all for a rewarding future.

I come from Christian values.
Front and centre, Sundays at church.
Strict values and family rules to upkeep.
Perseverance, patience, family support and relationship.
Peace, comfort, love and blessings received.

I come from love, and I will love.
