I believe assessment should:

 

• engage learners and be connected to practical, real life situations.

• include students' opinions in how they will be assessed.

• allow products and processes to incorporate redos, accommodations, and flexibility.

• be ongoing and differentiated.

• assess student’s understandings directly relating to learning outcomes.
